JP is a local boy from Clifton Park who was diagnosed with Niemann Pick Type C. This is a rare neuro-degenerative disease with symptoms that can include memory deterioration, balance loss, liver and lung failure. A cure has not yet been discovered, however, support therapies are available for children like JP.
